Well, it took a while, but we finally did it. Through the help of the really amazing Let’s Encrypt, we managed to get HTTPS (SSL) throughout our entire website.
What does this mean? Does it change anything?
If you are worried about anything changing, no need to. The only thing that will be changed is the backend. HTTPS (SSL) is really just a secure layer on top of the original website, which means that everything you do on this website will be encrypted and unable to be tracked through most hacker means.
Currently, there are a few bugs laying around like fonts/images that are unable to load, which is quite an easy fix.
Along with today’s HTTPS upgrade, we also upgraded our server system from PHP5 to PHP7, which is proven to serve web pages at 2x-3x the speed without compromising quality/reliability, which is a great thing because now you can browse Bronydom Network much faster!
We really hope that these backend changes helps your experience improve among Bronydom Network and it’s services. If there is anything you may need to suggest about the website or the network as a whole, feel free to comment below.
(such 2 hour downtime, amirite?)
