Today, the 18th January 2015, the technicial administrators of bronydom.net were informed of a security breach.
The site was down for a fair few hours while the issues were resolved. We have identified the person responsible for the breach who has explained their methods which we have taken efforts to patch.
As far as we are aware, no personal information has been leaked but you should still do the following:
- CHANGE your password on any of our services
- CHANGE any passwords that are the same on other sites (email, etc)
- ENFORCE good security practises, create strong passwords and do not reuse them elsewhere
We should emphasise again that no personal information has been leaked, however you should remain cautious and make sure you update any passwords that have been used on our services.
We are sorry for any inconvenience we have caused, and if you have any questions or worries you are advised to contact me. My details are at the bottom of the page.
